81 FERIAS I TRADE FAIRS & EVENTS focusing on key topics such as sustainability, technological innovation, and design creativity. The audience enjoyed a rich program of conferences, talks, and installations, exploring new horizons in packaging through sensory experiences, special projects, and interaction with art. Art installations and presentations The olfactory installation, created in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Perfumery and Integra Fragrances, generated great interest. This installation took visitors on a journey between nature and imagination thanks to three fragrances inspired by the edition's artistic concept: "From AI to AI, from Artificial Intelligence to Augmented Imagination," developed by digital artists Andrea Filippi and Gabriele Moschin. Among the most highly praised projects were the Art Gallery 2025, which housed 27 works created with artificial intelligence by international artists and students, and the Avantgarde area, where awards were given to the most innovative projects in design, packaging materials, and sustainability. In terms of content, the two stages (Main Stage and Ring Stage) featured more than 30 talks with over 90 international speakers, including companies, experts, and creatives, who offered a comprehensive overview of the sector's evolution and upcoming challenges. Another highlight was the Design Hub, powered by Avery Dennison, a space dedicated to brand visual storytelling through top packaging design agencies (including Advision, Anisha, Batllegroup, Bulldog, Idem Design, NSG, and Okay Monday). The second phase of the GINNASIUM project, organized by UPM Rataflac, Vetroelite, Vinolok, Retail Pak, Luxoro, T&K, and SenseCatch, involved five designers from five Italian regions (Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lombardy, Tuscany, and Calabria) in creating the gin bottle packaging, including the box. "Packaging Première & PCD Milan 2025 has established itself as a research center and observatory of excellence in packaging and future trends. The dynamism, the quality of the content, and the involvement of the international community make us proud of the progress we have made." "We thank the exhibitors, partners, visitors, and everyone who contributed to this edition," says Lara Castagna, event director of Packaging Première & PCD Milan. Several awards were presented during the event: the award for best customized stand went to Foilco and the award for best preinstalled stand to Casati. The former developed an exhibition project from conception to completion, while the latter customized and reinterpreted a basic structure provided by the organizers. A special mention was also given to Dabrazzi. The next event is in 2026 (May 19-21). Simona Monfrinotti Simona Monfrinotti Simona Monfrinotti
