The Fedrigoni Top Award 2025 competition celebrates excellence in design and highlights the creations of those who use Fedrigoni paper and self-adhesive materials to create unique masterpieces. This year's winners were announced on June 5th during a ceremony at the Pavillon Gabriel in Paris. There are five categories: Packaging, Publishing, Label, Creative Communication, and Graphics Applications. Students and young researchers also participated by presenting projects in the Young Talents section. Packaging Category The winning project, "Hera nei campi" (Italy), inspired by the ancient deity Hera and her historical ties to the region, was presented in a packaging design reminiscent of a treasure chest, featuring colors rarely used in the food industry. A distinctive illustration took center stage. Second place went to "Istriana" (Croatia), featuring a bottle design inspired by Roman amphorae. Third place went to "Whathever" (China), a packaging concept emphasizing conviviality and relaxation. A Fedrigoni Special Mention was awarded to “I Giardini Medicei” by Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella (Italy), a floral-themed perfume packaging for four Eau de Parfum fragrances. Publishing Category Three winners shared the first prize: “Dead End,” a project by Penisola Edizioni con Antiga Edizioni (Italy), a book exploring the past and present of a border between two nations, the U.S. and Mexico; “UXUA UTOPIA: A Very Gifted Guesthouse” by UXUA Casa Hotel and Spa (Netherlands), a book centered on a luxury resort designed by internationally renowned designer Wilbert Das, reflecting a lifestyle that promotes creativity in harmony with nature; and “Mezzocane” by the Culturgest Foundation (Portugal), a publication dedicated to an Enzo Cucchi exhibition in Lisbon at Culturgest, showcasing paintings, sculptures, and drawings spanning two decades. Special Jury Mentions: “Panorama,” by Éditions du livre (France), and “Dějiny města Zlína,” by Town Zlín (Czech Republic). Special Mention: Fedrigoni: Dior’s New Spaces 2023, by Dior (France). Label Category The winning label was “Sentinella,” from the La Lepre e la Luna vineyard (Italy), with simple shapes and a touch of vibrant color, enhanced by the natural texture of the 100% cotton paper. Second place went to “Cline Family Cellars, The Sneak Wines” by The Sneak (USA), inspired by the rebellious nature of winemaker Henry Cline. Third place went to “Sulcus – Extra Virgin Olive Oil” by Sulcus (Italy): the red letters of the name Sulcus rest on a textured label that reflects the rocky landscape and the roughness of the land cultivated for generations.
