At Virospack, we continue to develop different dispensing systems, from classic droppers to precisiondosing push buttons and autofill solutions- to meet the growing demand for clinical precision in new skincare products, as well as applicators that add functionality to the consumer experience as the spatulas and roll-ons. Customization is another important area of innovation. Different pipette sizes and tip shapes, bulb configurations, dosage capacities, finishes and decoration technologies allow us to adapt the dropper to the formula, the brand identity and the desired consumer experience. Virospack manufactures and decorates its cosmetic droppers in-house in Barcelona, which gives us significant flexibility in developing highly customized solutions. And, increasingly, innovation is inseparable from sustainability. The challenge for our industry is to maintain the performance, precision and premium aesthetics expected by beauty brands while reducing environmental impact and designing packaging for greater circularity. Are you implementing measures for more sustainable production and packaging? Absolutely. Sustainability is now one of the main drivers of innovation in packaging, particularly as the European industry prepares for the requirements of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). At Virospack, we have been working proactively on several fronts. We already offer mechanical recycled plastic solutions with recycled content ranging from 30% to 100%, and we can manufacture the plastic components of our droppers with up to 100% PCR, depending on the component. We are also working with chemically recycled plastics and have been ISCC PLUS certified since May 2024, providing traceability throughout the value chain for certified sustainable materials. Glass is another important area of development. Our current portfolio includes recycled glass content depending on technology and supplier, and we continue working with our partners to increase these percentages and reduce environmental impact. At the same time, more than 80% of our plastic trays are already made with PCR material. The PPWR is accelerating the transition of the entire European packaging industry toward waste prevention, recyclability, reduced packaging weight and volume, increased recycled content and greater circularity. Our roadmap is therefore not simply about complying with regulations, it is about anticipating these requirements and continuing to develop solutions that allow our clients to make this transition while maintaining the quality, functionality and aesthetics expected in beauty packaging.
