Seram reasserts its commitment in sustainability with Native

Seram has designed a new sustainable collection of adhesive labels, pouches, ribbons, handtags, bottle neck and accessories inspired by traditional handcrafts and made of natural materials.
The Native Collection comes in linen, organic cotton (GOTS, Global Organic Textile Standard), wood, cork, FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified bamboo, Pinatex, shells or lava stone.
Seram relies on its know-how in sewing, weaving, laser cutting, engraving and printing to enhance these raw materials.

The winner of the Carton of the Year

The packaging of Gabrini in Love EDT (Kadioglu Cosmetics), by Printpark (carton producer) and Metsä Board (cartonboard manufacturer) is the Carton of the Year of the European Carton Excellence Awards, organized by Pro Carton.
This carton shines bright like a diamond as crystal rhinestones on a carton are very rare. Applying decorative diamonte on a carton poses a big challenge and requires special skills. The distinctive structural design gives the packaging a diamond shape. Up to now, diamonte multi-pack applications were mostly made on tin boxes, whereas here cardboard is being used instead.
Metallic print with partial textured varnish finishing and an embossed silver hot-foil printed logo enhance the final effect. Inside the pack there is a showy metallic holographic finish.

Seram has used its historical know-how in trimmings to realize the bow made of grosgrain ribbon of Mademoiselle Rochas Couture new fragrance for woman. Its geometric lines and black hue catch the eye.
This new version with an affirmed volume, generously dresses the collar of the bottle, giving it a couture, sober and elegant look.

Texen reveals a jaspé décor for the caps of Armani’s Acqua Di Gioia

Texen was asked by Armani to create a jaspé effect for a cap in four different shades. The four fragrances Acqua di Gioia are now sublimated by the crystalline beauty of a thick-walled bottle and a pebble-shaped cap with a mottled jaspé finish set in Surlyn.
Armani asked Texen Industries to create this pebble-shaped cap, made with an injected material to reveal both transparency and depth. Texen achieved this jaspé effect thanks to a tailor-made injection process.
After a period of research, Texen developped an innovative industrial process. The technique lies in the mixing of different materials during the injection phase and the alchemy born from their fusion temperatures and their viscosity. Assembled with a transparent PP insert, the cap is injected using a specific mold. The unusual jaspé effect is enhanced by the transparency of Surlyn.

Quadpack develops Franck Muller's perfume bottle

Franck Muller, the prestigious Swiss watchmaker, has created five Eaux de Parfums. Quadpack’s product development team took care of this very special project.
Quadpack presented the client with a series of sketches for bottles inspired by the form of a classic, elongated watch face, with the cap representing the watch’s crown.
Once the hand drawn concept was approved, technology stepped in. 2D drawing is a digitally-generated image of the design. 3D printing has accelerated and made more cost effective the early stages of bespoke packaging development.
Decoration and finishes had to express the haute prestige values of the Franck Muller name, and involved a number of sophisticated techniques. The bottle sides and cap were screen-printed in a shiny gold, leaving the interior frames on the front and rear faces clear. A composition of clock-face numbers were laser cut onto the rear face, which when viewed from the front, seemingly ‘dance’ through the perfume’s liquid sheen. The front face was silk-screened with Franck Muller’s elegant logo and the fragrance reference.
