Seram adorns Yves Saint Laurent make-up pallets

From exotic inspiration, the limited editions of the 2019 Yves Saint Laurent Summer Palettes feature a chic leatherette design with a soft touch suede. They are embellished with a silkscreened two-tone palm pattern and YSL signature.
As a technical challenge, the relief effect is obtained thanks to a meticulous process of cutting and lamination on printed paper, requiring a flawless positioning. The adhesive labels are affixed manually.
Seram has designed 2 versions: earthy color for the Bronzing Stone palette, and green color for the eye shadow palette.

10 years of Cavallum, the award-winning wine box that turns into a lamp

In 2009, a design made in Barcelona conquered the eyes of sustainability experts and creativity lovers: a wine box that was transformed into an elegant table lamp. Cavallum immediately won the world press and was recognized by, among others, the Global Innovation Report London 2009 as one of the nine most innovative designs in the world.
Cavallum was the first packaging with a second life in the world - that is, the first packaging designed to have a second use, far beyond a simple packaging. 70% of the packaging becomes a new object: an elegant table lamp.
After 10 years, it's time to celebrate. From July 10 to September 30, 2019, companies and individuals can join the campaign and reserve their Cavallum. The goal is to reach 10,000 units.The production will be made exclusively for those who join the campaign and will take place from October to November of this year. The reservation is made through the page www.ciclus.com/shareproduction.
"If we reach our goal, we will donate 5% of our campaign to Oxfam Intermón that will be destined to families that are suffering from the effects of climate change in Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia where there is a new drought," explains Tati Guimarães, creator of Cavallum and founder of Ciclus, his creative laboratory.

“We wanted to make a shared celebration and give a gift to companies and people that reflect the same values that we want to do, but don't know how, a sustainability action that excites and lasts,” says Tati Guimarães.

Quadpack develops Franck Muller's perfume bottle

Franck Muller, the prestigious Swiss watchmaker, has created five Eaux de Parfums. Quadpack’s product development team took care of this very special project.
Quadpack presented the client with a series of sketches for bottles inspired by the form of a classic, elongated watch face, with the cap representing the watch’s crown.
Once the hand drawn concept was approved, technology stepped in. 2D drawing is a digitally-generated image of the design. 3D printing has accelerated and made more cost effective the early stages of bespoke packaging development.
Decoration and finishes had to express the haute prestige values of the Franck Muller name, and involved a number of sophisticated techniques. The bottle sides and cap were screen-printed in a shiny gold, leaving the interior frames on the front and rear faces clear. A composition of clock-face numbers were laser cut onto the rear face, which when viewed from the front, seemingly ‘dance’ through the perfume’s liquid sheen. The front face was silk-screened with Franck Muller’s elegant logo and the fragrance reference.

TNT Global Manufacturing signs the
 Black & Gold Box for Cairo by Penhaligon's

TNT Global Manufacturing has designed the box of Cairo perfume by Penhaligon's. The glossy black color has been obtained by lacquering and glossy varnish and enhances the golden relief labelling of the top and the sides.
This design shows its difference with the previous boxes, made thanks to Water Transfer process, by its piano-like finition. TNT Global Manufacturing met the challenge to optimize the varnishing process to obtain the requested quality / price ratio.
