La Gala fue presentada por Charlie Pee, con el apoyo del secretario general del GREMI, Joan Creus, y contó con una destacada presencia empresarial e institucional. Durante la velada se puso de manifiesto que la comunicación gráfica es “mucho más que impresión. Es industria, tecnología, diseño, packaging, etiquetado, acabados, libro, cultura, sostenibilidad, automatización, servicio empresarial e innovación aplicada. Es también una actividad esencial para muchos otros sectores económicos, desde el comercio hasta la logística, desde la alimentación hasta la cosmética, desde la edición hasta la comunicación corporativa”. Entre los galardones entregados hubo reconocimientos en las categorías de Diario, Revista, Calendario, Impresión de libro, Encuadernación de libro, Impresión flexográfica, Catálogo, Estuche, Expositor, Display, Etiqueta, Envase, Trabajo variado, Responsabilidad social, Sostenibilidad e Innovación. Las empresas premiadas en esta edición fueron: Artika Books, Encuadernaciones Eusebi Gregorio, TG Soler, Imprintsa, Gràfiques Trema, Liberdúplex, Encuadernaciones Bardenas, Moderngrab, Impremta Pagès, Minerva Packaging & Print, Diseño Gráfico del Envase, Vanguard Gràfic, Gráficas Varias, Grifoll Print Solutions, Ediciones Gráficas Rey y Eurecat. Los trabajos reconocidos evidenciaron la diversidad de formatos, técnicas y soluciones que definen hoy la industria gráfica: desde piezas vinculadas a instituciones culturales hasta packaging, etiquetas, libros, expositores, displays, materiales inclusivos y soluciones innovadoras. The 2026 Graphic Arts Gala, held on June 5th at the Palau de la Música Catalana, has solidified its position as the premier meeting point for the graphic arts and communications industry. The event was attended by 500 people, including representatives from companies, professionals, institutions, sponsors, industry representatives, and stakeholders across the graphic arts value chain. The gathering, organized by the Catalan Graphic Arts Industry and Communication Association (GREMI de la Indústria i la Comunicació Gràfica de Catalunya), became a collective celebration of the talent, industrial strength, and creativity of a sector that continues to demonstrate its adaptability, innovation, and forward-thinking approach, with a clear affirmation of the strategic role of graphic communications in the economy, culture, packaging, publishing, industry, and brand communication. One of the highlights of the evening was the attendance of Jordi Hereu, Minister of Industry and Tourism, who participated in the event and presented the Guild Pyramid, the highest award of the Graphic Arts Competition. The minister’s presence represented a top-level institutional recognition for the graphic arts industry. This recognition takes on special significance at a key moment for the GREMI (Association of the Graphic Arts Industry and Communication of Catalonia) and for the Catalan graphic arts industry as a whole. The GREMI is now part of the Register of Innovative Business Groups of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism through the AEI GREMI (Innovative Business Association), a milestone that reinforces the entity’s role as a platform for business cooperation, innovation, technological modernization, and industrial competitiveness. The incorporation of the AEI GREMI into the Register of Innovative Business Groups places the graphic arts sector within a strategic framework of public-private collaboration and opens new opportunities to promote collaborative projects focused on digitalization, automation, sustainability, productivity, talent acquisition, and the transformation of graphic arts SMEs. The president of GREMI, Joan Nogués, highlighted the vitality of a sector that innovates, generates skilled employment, and serves a wide variety of economic activities. The Gala aimed to recognize the companies and professionals who, day after day, contribute to maintaining a modern, competitive, and essential industrial ecosystem for the country. The Gala was also attended by Commissioner Núria Aymerich and the Director General of Industry, Xavier Roca, from the Department of Business and Labor, who joined the sector on this particularly significant evening. 73rd Graphic Arts Competition The event centered on the awards ceremony for the 73rd edition of the Graphic Arts Competition, a long-standing competition that recognizes the quality, innovation, creativity, technical precision, and excellence of the work produced by the sector.
