Encased in a metallic gold cannister that features an intricate pen and ink drawing of the three-eyed raven, seen throughout the eight seasons of the series, the Six Kingdoms packaging pays homage to the last Greenseer and the independence of the North.
On the ancient hills of Dufftown lies the hallowed Mortlach Distillery. Mortlach has equally been influenced by important historical figures.The Mortlach Single Malt Scotch Whisky Aged 15 Years, has been matured in first-fill sherry-seasoned casks and finished in American Oak ex-bourbon casks.

Jo Malone Luxury Seasonal Pack by Knoll Printing & Packaging

Knoll Printing & Packaging won three awards at 2019 UK Packaging Awards for their work with Darphin (see work here) and Jo Malone. Knoll was the winner of Luxury Gift Pack and Technical Achievement for Darphin Jardin à la Française and received special recognition in the Luxury Seasonal Pack category for their work with Jo Malone.
The Jo Malone Advent Calendar is made out of 100% board and wrapped with the iconic brand paper. The exterior of the pack showcases the Jo Malone London studio facade, which is silkscreened on the front face, and sparkles with gold on the windows and lamp posts.
Inside, there are 24 numbered drawers packed with scented gifts. The opened structure reveals at the back the alignment of building facades creating the feeling of being in London on Jo Malone’s street.

First Prize of the Verallia Glass and Creation Contest

«Chup Chup Chup» by Estela Pérez, a student of the Higher School of Design in La Rioja (ESDIR), is the title of the first prize winning project, endowed with € 2,500, of the VI Verallia Glass and Creation Contest in Spain. They are glass containers to house pre-cooked dishes that have been made with sustainable and quality products. These packages are intended to break the preconceived association that is made of pre-cooked packaging as a product of low quality, unhealthy and eventual consumption.
The second prize, valued at € 1,300, has been for “Bubbles” by Carlota Carrillo, a student at the Superior School of Design in La Rioja (ESDIR). «Bubbles» is a new concept of glass tub for food.
«SayCheese», by Pablo Bernardo and Pedro de la Fuente, students of the University School of Design, Innovation and Technology of Madrid, (ESNE), won the third prize, endowed with € 900. It is a different and elegant package that aims to change the standard of cheese spread and the consumer experience of this product.
